The renowned technology prize was awarded to 20 innovative projects from the international food and supplier Industry. Tropical won the silver category thanks to its recently patented automatic banana peeler Cerere 6000.
The prize proves the growing commitment of Tropical Food Machinery in the promotion of sustainability through the development of high energy efficiency machinery.
A significative example is the renewed version of the rotating beaters extractor Artemide, a modular machine capable of satisfy a wide range of production capacities. Artemide is designed to be easy to maintain and efficient according to the fruit processed. Notably, the new design of the beaters guarantees a complete cleaning of the stone, avoiding to break it and allowing more waste reduction. The machine is ideal for all the types of fruit with stones and seeds such as Kaew Mungkorn, Passion Fruit, Mango, Mangosteen.
