From semi-automatic wrapping machines with smart technology to the latest generation of automatic machines, from industrial shrinkwrappers to case packers and shrinkwrapping machines, Aetna Group manufactures and markets a wide range of machines and lines capable of responding to equally vast production needs, offering tailor-made packaging solutions.
The creation of a One Global Company with a strong glocal imprint is also thanks to a policy that has made acquisitions an element of integration and sharing of know-how, network and knowledge of the territory. This is the case of DIMAC, which joined the group in 1989, followed in 2010 by PRASMATIC, both specialized for over 30 years in the world of shrink wrapping machines, case packers and combined packaging lines, mainly for the food industry.
In 2017, Aetna Group acquired OCME, a company with solid roots and strong experience in the design and production of automatic machines for filling, secondary packaging, palletizing and complete systems for different industries. Established in 1954 in Parma, OCME marks an important step in the evolution of Aetna Group, sealing the development of an entrepreneurial reality characterized by a strong internationalization but which looks to the territory as a resource to draw from for a business in continuous growth.
The following year, 2018, is the turn of SOTEMAPACK, a company based in Anzola dell’Emilia. Aetna Group acquired the share capital in order to strengthen its position as a player in the Bologna packaging valley at a global level.
In 2018 it was also signed the collaboration agreement with Sacmi Packaging, and therefore with end-of-line automation and finished product handling, giving added value to the leadership in the field of end-of-line solutions, to be considered not only as the last phase of the production process, but also as the first phase of logistics.
